Our Purpose
Mission Statement
The Duke VanLue Memorial Scholarship Foundation's mission is to provide scholarships to Seniors at Tomball, Waller, and Magnolia ISD High Schools to attend a Trade or Vocational School. Funding for the scholarships is provided through a combination of Annual Charity Events, as well as generous donations.
How We Got Here
The Duke VanLue Memorial Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2022 by Duke Tyler VanLue to honor his father who passed away in 2020. At the age of 13 Duke Tyler understood the best way to honor his Dad was to give back to the local community that he loved. Being able to combine his father's passion for shooting and the drive to support the community, The Duke VanLue Memorial Scholarship Foundation was formed. The Inaugural Sporting Clay Tournament commenced in 2022; with such an outstanding response Duke Tyler has added a second event beginning Fall of 2023.
Honoring A Father
Duke was a believer that it did not take a 4-year college degree to be successful. There are many paths to choose from and he didn't always choose the most traditional one. We wanted to Honor his Spirit by targeting Seniors who wish to take a less traditional path towards their future.
